Jason C. dropped me a line and had a message for me to send out to the old email list…

Aside:  Ever since Michigan passed the “Destroy Private Business Act”, a.k.a. “The Smoking Ban”, we’ve only got together for 1 gathering.  Back to the story…

…anyway, Jason bought a box of Fuentes and felt like celebrating.  He also very recently discovered the Copper Canyon has a Cigar room!  So it was official; I sent out the notice, and Jason mentioned it on LinkedIn and a couple other places, hoping some of the old gang would come back out of hiding.

As a result, we got together after work on the June 22nd, 2012, and met up with some old friends and new.  Food, drink, cigars, and yes, gossip were had by all.  I’m so glad and thankful that the Copper Canyon has put this room together and I hope the word spreads (I’m doing my part!).

And thanks Jason, for the impetus.
